Here is another video of my carnivorous plants, this time my indoor collection, which resides in our very small spare bedroom. I keep a humidifier running in this room to keep the humidity above 60% at all times. Sometimes 2 humidifiers are needed in the winter as the air is extra dry then. The temperature varies with the general house temp but the plants don't seem to mind that. The lights are 4 foot T8 florescent bulbs. One "cool white" and one "sun spectrum " bulb in each fixture, two fixtures per rack. This provides a combination of spectrum that the plants seem to thrive on. The lights are on a timer so I don't have to worry about them. I find that spending time in the plant room during winter helps ward off the winter blues. I don't know if it's being among the greenery or the extra light. Maybe it's a combination of the two. Enjoy, and please leave comments.
